THE JOURNEY

It began with a one-way ticket
and a lot of questions.

At twenty-four, Darren sold everything he owned and bought
a one-way ticket to Bangkok.

What started as an escape became a twenty-year search—
one that carried him through nearly eighty countries,
a handful of near-misses, and almost everything else
a life can hand a person.

But the farther he traveled, the clearer it became:
distance was never going to fix what he was actually
running from.
