THE NEXT CHAPTER

“If you love this story and want to help me keep going, here's how you can be part of what comes next.”

For most of my life, I’ve believed the next road would lead me somewhere I hadn’t been before. But this journey feels different. I’m not setting out simply to see another part of the world—I’m setting out to go inward.

I want to travel through Tibet, stand at Mount Everest Base Camp, cross into Kathmandu, and make my way to Bhutan—a pilgrimage through some of the most extraordinary landscapes and spiritual traditions on earth. Along the way, I want to slow down, listen, question, write, and document what happens when the journey stops being about finding somewhere new and starts becoming about finding something within myself.

I don’t know exactly what I’ll discover. That’s the point.

If you’d like to help make this journey possible, you can become part of the story. Help me take the next step, document the road, and perhaps discover what lies at the end of it.

The journey outward has lasted twenty years. Now, the journey inward begins.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Beijing → Tibet → Everest → Nepal → Bhutan

Twenty years ago, the journey was outward.

This time, I'm going inward.

I want to begin in Beijing, boarding the Qinghai–Tibet Railway and crossing the Tibetan Plateau by train to Lhasa. From there, I'll travel overland through Tibet to Mount Everest Base Camp, before crossing into Nepal and continuing to Kathmandu and Pokhara.

From Pokhara, I'll set out on foot to walk the Annapurna Circuit, spending weeks in the Himalayas before flying onward to Bhutan—a place I've dreamed of visiting for years.

But this won't simply be another trip.

It will be a pilgrimage.

A journey through some of the highest mountains and oldest spiritual traditions on earth, while exploring what happens when a lifetime spent searching outward becomes a journey inward.

I'll document the experience through writing, photography, and video, sharing the people, places, questions, and unexpected moments along the way.

I don't know exactly what I'll find.

That's why I'm going.

My goal is $6,000 to make this journey possible.
